In a series of road mishaps across Mysuru, a young gym trainer lost his life, while four others, including a girl, suffered injuries.
Karthik (27), a gym trainer from Gokulam, was fatally injured when a KSRTC bus rammed into his bike at the Hunsur Road-Valmiki Road Junction. Witnesses reported that he was speeding when the bus struck from behind, causing him to skid nearly 10 feet. Without a helmet, he sustained fatal head injuries and succumbed before medical help arrived.
In another accident on Vishwamanava Double Road, a girl riding a scooter with her mother panicked upon spotting an uncovered trench dug by the Mysuru City Corporation. She abruptly stopped, leading to a collision with a bike. She sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.
The third incident involved Sowmya (31), a KSRTC employee, who was hit by a speeding Bullet bike at Moulana Abul Kalam Circle. Returning home after work, she suffered severe leg injuries in the crash, while the reckless rider escaped with minor wounds.
