Netizens compare Bengaluru roads to Clash of Clans

An aerial photo of Bengaluru’s Bellandur area has triggered online debate, drawing comparisons to the popular game Clash of Clans. Shared on X by Indian Tech & Infra, the image highlights a striking contrast—on one side, a haphazardly built locality with dense, irregular layouts, and on the other, a neatly planned community with red-roofed houses.

Social media users likened the structured area to a Clash of Clans base, while the chaotic section resembled an unplanned enemy camp. Many saw the image as a reflection of urban disparity and poor governance.

One user pointed out, “The left side is government land, while the right belongs to a private developer. Look at the stark difference in planning.” Another questioned why public authorities fail to execute well-planned layouts despite having the resources, blaming corruption and misplaced priorities.

Others expressed concern over unchecked urbanization, warning that Bengaluru’s green cover would soon vanish, leading to waterlogging, sewage, and infrastructure woes.
