Mangaluru: Thank You Karnataka is a series of programmes organised to celebrate decennial year of NewsKarnataka and thus thank Kannadigas all over the globe for supporting the Spearhead Media Group to achieve this milestone.
One of the programmes under Thank You Karnataka series is the Womenia, a show that promotes women of impact, entrepreneurs and achievers that is aired every Thursday.
The guest of the fifteenth episode aired on Thursday January 26 is Komal Prabhu, Chief Operating Officer, Maharaja Group. The anchor person for the programme was Ananya Hegde.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s YouTube Channel.
Komal Prabhu sharing her childhood expressed, “Kids today are tech savvy. Back in our days I wore my mom’s saree and dreamt myself to be an Enterprenuer and yes the dreams do come true.”
“I am married to a business family and entrepreneurs are always adventurers moving forward with new challenges and I too got an opportunity to enter into the field,” Komal Prabhu shared her inspiration towards enterprenuership.
“Focus, passion and perseverance are significant factors in business. Downs in life are always the strongest hands when we grow,” she told as a significant business management tactic.
“Balancing family and career is women’s art. From her childhood she has been inculcated the habit of looking after the family. And when it comes to her own family she gives her best,” Komal Prabhu expressed.
As an advise to the audience she said, “Perseverance, focus and determination will take you to heights and so grow.”
