Mangaluru: Thank You Karnataka is a series of programmes organised to celebrate decennial year of NewsKarnataka and thus thank Kannadigas all over the globe for supporting the Spearhead Media Group to achieve this milestone.
One of the programmes under Thank You Karnataka series is Womenia, a show that promotes women of impact, entrepreneurs and achievers that is aired on every Thursday.
The guest of the 27 th episode aired on Thursday 25th April, was Rajani Shetty, Pet rescuer. The anchor person for the programme was Ananya Hegde.
The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s YouTube Channel.
Rajani Hegde reminiscing her childhood expressed, “I was a tom boy and was never studious. My interested being a kid too was on pets and my very first rescue was at the age of nine years”.
Saving a life is a challenge. When I am living, looking at a creature die is the greatest challenge expressed Rajani Shetty.
On balancing her career with family she said, I have my husband and kids supporting. She said, Being humans we shouldn’t be selfish nor live a life giving pain to other creatures.
