Eugine Wilfred Pinto, the esteemed chairman of Manasa Amusement Water Park in Pilikula, passed away on Wednesday, July 24. Pinto had been hospitalized recently due to health complications.

A prominent figure in the amusement industry, Pinto held significant roles at several companies, including GM Amusement Park, before taking the helm at Manasa Amusement Water Park in 2020. Under his leadership, the park flourished, becoming a key attraction and boosting Mangaluru’s tourism sector.

Pinto was renowned for his vibrant personality, energy, and philanthropic efforts. His contributions to the entertainment industry were widely acknowledged and his sudden passing has deeply affected the industry.

Originally from Gurpur, Pinto is survived by his wife and two children. His funeral cortege will depart from his residence, “Holy Spirit,” at 2:45 pm on Friday, July 26. The procession will proceed to Our Lady of Pompei Church in Gurpur, Kaikamba, where there will be a viewing at 3:00 pm followed by a Mass at 3:30 pm.

Pinto’s legacy in the amusement and tourism sectors will be remembered fondly, and his absence will be felt by many who knew and worked with him.
