Dubai: Yakshagana is proud and complete folk art from coastal Karnataka and it runs in the DNA of the people there. We see the younger generation developing more interest in Yakshagana, despite the domination of other colorful & popular entertainment mediums.
“Yakshambhudi” a Udupi based Yakshagana school sponsored by “Panamburu Venkatraya Aithala Samskrutika Pratishtana” with support of Mrs. Gopika Mayya and led by able and talented Yakshaguru Rakesh Rai. He is Coming to Dubai with his disciples to stage “Gajendra Moksha” Yakshagana on 24th January Friday Evening 6 Pm onwards at J.S.S International School, Jumeira Village Circle Dubai.
