Dubai :Emirates Pangalites presented yet another great event for the benefit of the labour society in Dubai.A Domestic Workers Day out in Jabeel Park,Dubai was organised successfully for the second year. More than a hundred Mangalorean domestic workers serving in various parts of UAE participated in this joyful gathering.
Mr. Clevin D’Souza, President of Emirates Pangalites welcomed the chief guest Mr. Joseph Mathias. Mr. Michael Castelino, the Founder President of Emirates Pangalites welcomed the other dignitaries including Mr.Walter Nandalike & Dayan D’Souza.
One this special occasion, Mr. Joseph Mathias in his speech appreciated the services rendered by the domestic workers and wished them a better future.Fr.Melwyn D’Cunha of Bajjodi Church, Mangalore also spoke on the occasion.
Special games were organised by Mr. Joyan Quadras & team like Memory Game, throwing the ring,guess the lemon,picture sticking & kasadinda rasa. The participant workers greatly enjoyed this event. The participants were divided into four teams namely White Rose, Evergreen, Udentichi Neketra & JMJ. The Udentichi Neketra was the proud winner & the runner up was Evergreen team.
