Doha: Hanan, a premier cricket club from Qatar is all set to conduct its second prestigious HPLT10- Season 2, a hard tennis ball cricket tournament from September 12 to 15 at Asian Town Cricket stadium Doha, Qatar.
A draw ceremony was held at Golden Ocean Hotel, Doha, Qatar on September 1. Speaking to NewsKarnataka, Abdul Khader president of HPL-T10 told that, 12 prestigious teams from UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and India will be participating in this year’s season-2 tournament. After the great success of HPL-T10 season-1 and Udupi Premier League (UPL), Hanan Cricket Club has come out with a great sportive mind by awarding total cash prize of QAR 100,000/-. The winner will receive 66,000/- QAR cash prize and a big trophy and the runner-up will have 33,000/- QAR cash prize. He also told that, ‘live digital score’ and live streaming will be available on www.hanancricketclub.com this year.
Babul from Aljamal Trading; Tulukoota Qatar president Ravi Shetty; Areef, Chairman of Petromann Industry-Dubai; Hida Foundation, Chairman, Abdulla Monu; Satish from QDC; Golden Trading, Chairman, Asmath Ali and past president of Tulukoota Seetharam Shetty were present on the Dias. Hanan club president Abdul Khader, vice president Nasir Manjeshwar and committee member Shakil welcome the guest with bouquets.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Shetty lauded Khader and team for the effort to come out with great tournaments which not only encourage sportive minds in young generation but also unite the society from different cultural backgrounds.
