Hemmmeya UAE Kannadigaru conducts All religion Summit & Prayers for Covid free World

Dubai: Hemmeya UAE Kannadigaru has organized the Annual Ramadan Iftar meet On April 30 through a virtual Zoom session from Dubai, UAE.

People from all walks of life and religion participated to celebrate the holy month and interreligious harmony. The corona pandemic has been spreading across India with the second wave creating huge loss of life and sadness across the communities. A Prayer for Covid free world was also organized at the meet.

The program started with the UAE National Anthem and Karnataka Nadageethe followed by Quran recitation by Dubai student Mohammad Afzar Sompadi. Moulana Isak Kousari rendered the inaugural prayers.

The program was chaired by Padmashri Sharana Ibrahim Sutara Mohammed Mustafa.  Hadiya Mandya honorary president explained the activities of the Hemmeya UAE Kannadigaru team , Mamatha Raghavendra ,President , HUK highlighted the theme of harmony & covid free world.

Sufi saint Ibrahim Sutara explained the essence of religious harmony through truthfulness, eradication of wrong assumptions with respect to religion, brotherhood, universality, purification and the need of the hour today ‘Dava and Dua’ (Medicine & Blessings ). He urged people to dedicate themselves to humanity and spread love and humanity.

Sri Dr.Shivamurthy, Muruga Sharanaru, Pontiff, Chitradurga Mutt heighten the essence of Ramadan which promotes sharing, caring, self-realization, the hunger of the poor, and universal oneness. He said that once we realize we all belong to one humanity we act together to make this world a better place to live and during this covid crisis we should all act together as one to save ourselves and mankind.

Mohammed Qui, Manager Shantiprakashana, briefed the theme of Ramadan & Quran highlighting the inner conscience, purpose of life, communication, and brotherhood among all and helping the needy without the discrimination of religion; the teachings of the prophet Mohammad.

Reverend. Father Anthony, Parish priest St.Lawrence Chruch, Kudremukha, said that all religions have advantages and drawbacks but every religion leads to one path of universal oneness peace, kindness, bridge of humanity, each person when he studies other religion he realizes that there is only one way to please God, to be better human beings and embrace all and help all and spread love.

Moulana Sufiyan Saqafi Mangaluru delighted the audience by explaining the greatness of Karnataka, holy land which has been an abode to all religions, and how fortunate being born there. He explained the power of love, sacrifice and how Islam and the Quran have clearly mentioned the path of righteousness of life and the act of giving, being purposeful in the name of God.

Dr.Arathi Krishna, Former Diplomat and Vice President of the KNRI forum who was involved in the repatriation of Indians across the world during Covid wished the efforts of HUK in healing the world and assured them to continue her support of NRIs in distress through her work.

Ibrahim Khaleel Kagasagodu, KMCC General Secretary expressed extreme happiness to be part of this religious congregation and who has been part of the charity relief program of HUK promised to continue this great friendship; minds without borders.

Moulana Anees Kesari stressed the essence of religion to raise up as human beings, doing good in our lives, doing things that please the Almighty.

The Chief organizer of the program Rafiqali Kodagu, Sudeep Davanagere, Mamatha Sharjah, Dr.Savitha Mohan, Shankar Belagavi, Mohideen Hubballi, and Subcommittee members were present.

Vishnu Murthy Mysuru nicely anchored the program through poetry, religious hymns with excellent technical support from Senthil Bengaluru and Media Support from Sadat. The religious heads, guests, and audiences of the program were welcomed by Pallavi Basavaraj. The program ended with a hearty vote of thanks from Ashraf Peruvayi thanking all for the grand success and the spiritual aura it brought to the hearts of the attendees.
