A few months ago, a young Indian-origin girl in Dubai who was missing has been making a lot of headlines in news media and social networks. Mamata and Hadiya Mandya were also there with the Hemmaya UAE Kannadigaru team when they went to meet the girl in the Ajman area.
Similarly, they have helped many women in distress from Al Qasis, Al Karamah, Bur Dubai, Ajman Sharjah, and many other areas in different ways.
When India’s airline shutdown during Covid, many Kannadigas, who lost their jobs in Dubai, arrived on interview visas, were pregnant, sick, elderly were stuck in Dubai.
