Doha: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association is all set to organize 4th Tipu sultan Cup Soft Ball Cricket Tournament on 27th Monday evening 6.30 pm at Old Ideal Indian School ground, Doha.
Speaking to Newskarnataka, KMCA president Abdulla Monu told that ‘This year KMCA 4th Tipu Cup Opening Ceremony is planned on 27th March 2017 and Closing Ceremony on 30th March 2017.This time Nilangshu Dey, President of Indian sports center will be gracing the occasion as chief guest.
Padmashri Mariayappa Tangavelu and Satyanarayana Shimoga will be gracing the opening ceremony as guest of honour. Closing ceremony will be on 30th Thursday evening 6.30PM, ICC president Milan Arun will be gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, Karnataka state sports minister Pramod Madhwaraj, Qatar Volleyball Association president Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari, Zakaria Jokatte MD of Al-Muzzain Group Saudi will be gracing the occasion as Guests of Honour.
This year Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Tulukoota Qatar, Bunts Qatar, Qatar Friends Club, SKMWA, Social Forum Qatar and Hidaya foundation team and host team KMCA will be participating in the tournament. After 3 days league matches, best scorer teams will be selected to semis and finals for Thursday.
President Abdulla Monu behalf of committee of KMCA has invited all the cricket lovers and appealed to make the event grand success. Entry is free to all and separate family podium will be arranged.
