Abu Dhabi: The Koosama Shetty Memorial 1st ISC – UAE Badminton League 2015 was inaugurated at the India Social & Cultural Centre (ISC) Abu Dhabi’s badminton court on Thursday 8th October 2015.
Dr. B. R Shetty, CEO, NMC Healthcare inaugurated the event which is organised in memory of his Late mother Koosama Shetty.
Y. Sudhir Kumar Shetty, President, UAE Exchange Centre; K. Muraleedharan, M D, SFC Group; Seema Shetty, Executive Director, BRS Ventures; Sujata Thapa of Abu Dhabi Duty Free the Main Sponsor of the League, ISC President Ramesh V. Panicker, Secretary M. A. Salam, Honorary Sports Secretary C. George Vargehese, Asst. Sports Secretary Mohd. Yunus, Hisham P. A., M D, Apex Trading, Former Presidents and office bearers, members of ISC along with Managing committee were present during the inauguration.
Six teams from UAE such as ISC Abu Dhabi, India Club Dubai, Dubai Strikers, Sparc Sharjah, Shuttle Dribblers, Abu Dhabi and Etisalat Academy have participated in the event which will be held till 28th October in different categories.
