Mogaveers Bahrain celebrate grand decennial

Manama, Bahrain : The decennial celebrations of Mogaveers Bahrain, the first NRI organisation of Mogaveers was held with grandeur at the prestigious Indian Club Auditorium  here recently under the leadership of  its   Founder President Leeladhar Baikampady. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the traditional  lamp  by   Dr Deviprasad N, noted physician and a progressive thinker and leader of the community. The installation ceremony of the new office bearers of the  Mogaveers’ Bahrain was also  held in a unique manner with the office bearers dressed in the traditional Mogaveera attire arriving at the stage through the main entrance  resembling the Shree Kshetra Bagwady  and accepting shawl and Tamboola from the chief guest Dr Deviprasad.

Noted entrepreneur Satyajith  of Puducheri  unveiled the decennial logo of Mogaveers Bahrain. A list of the special  decennial programmes to be held throughout the year was release by Dr Deviprasad.

Talented members of the community and renowned artists Naveenchandra Koppa, Kalavathi Dayanand, Jagadish Puttur, Deepak Raj Ullal and Chandrashekhar Suvarna Ermal  who had come down to Bahrain for the decennial presented a variety of cultural programmes. Local artists also entertained the gathering.

There was even a demonstration of the  Bali Utsav of various Kula Kshetras of Mogaveers as well as a power point presentation on the various activities of the organisation over the past ten years.

 Shabari Enterprises Mumbai and Tenka Yermal Geleyara Balaga were the sponsors of the event while Global Associates  Mangalore were the co-sponsors,

Naveen Karkera, General Secretary welcomed the gathering. Leeladhar Baikampady, President  gave the introductory remarks. Chandrashekhar L Mendon, introduced the new office bearers. Suresh Amin, Cultural Secretary proposed the vote of thanks.

Naveenchandra Koppa was the master of the ceremony.
