UAE: The UAE’s most awaited Konkani literature and musical extravaganza “Geet Gazaal 2.0” is generating a lot of buzzes and creating excitement amongst the Konkani music and poem lovers.
Patronized by Karnataka’s most promising media portal Newskarnataka.com, Geet Gazaal 2.0 has tied its presentation with Konkani’s ace poet Melvyn Rodrigues on November 1 at the Emirates Theatre, Dubai. The show will begin at 5.30 PM.
Around 600 music lovers from the UAE are expected to attend the gala event. Many of the tickets have already been booked and the demand is expected to increase in the coming days.
Melvyn is popular name in the Indian poetic field and has won several honours, including international felicitations and the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award for his exceptional writing abilities.
Geet Gazaal 2.0 comprises to be an interactive session with Melvyn, live performances of songs written by him and the artistic fusion of drama and dance for his poems.
