Dubai: Large numbers of people attended the free health camp organized in Dubai by Thumbay Hospital in association with Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF), on Friday, 13 November 2015, from 2.30 pm to 9.00 pm.
The camp, held at Thumbay Hospital next to Stadium Metro Station in Al Qusais provided free consultation and checkup with the consultants and specialists of the hospital in various specialties such as Cardiology, Internal Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Dental, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology and Psychiatry.
The free medical camp started at 2.30 pm, in the presence of Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of the Healthcare Division of Thumbay Group, Dr. B. K. Yusuf, President of BCF and Abdul Latif Mulky, Chairman of BCF Health Camp Committee. Members of the administrative team of Thumbay Group and BCF office-bearers also attended the function.
In addition to free consultations and checkups, the camp also offered special discounts on total knee replacement package, maternity package, normal delivery package, LSCB package, antenatal package, mammography test, etc. Free blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI checkups and ECG tests were given to patients who were advised by the doctors.
Moreover, people who registered for the ‘Privilege Card’ at the camp will be eligible for a 20% discount at all the clinics of Thumbay Group, for a one-year-period. Privilege Card holders will also be entitled to a special discount on Umrah vaccination, during the next one year.
Akbar MoideenThumbay said that Thumbay Group regularly conducted many similar health camps, as part of its corporate social responsibility.
