Dubai: Rachael Productions’ maiden venture and producer Ronald Martis’ first ever Tulu film, ‘Kambalabettu Bhatrena Magal’ had a successful premier release in the UAE at the Galleria Cinemas, Deira, Dubai on April 26 at 1.30 PM. It was a full-house show.
During the interval, the guests- Tulu, Kannada and Konkani film producer Dr. Frank Fernandes, Kannada film producer Harish Sherigar, philanthropist, singer and actor Joseph Mathias and former president of the Mangalore Konkans Alwyn Pinto inaugurated the event by way of traditional lighting of the lamp. Following this, Ronald Martis honoured each of the guests with a flower. Speaking on behalf of the guests, Dr. Frank Fernandes encouraged the film’s team and requested the audience to support Tulunadu films in the UAE whenever they are released.
The film garnered a positive response from the audience, many of whom commented that it had a different subject compared to the usual films. Many members of the audience also enjoyed and appreciated the beautiful locations and songs. Overall, it was a good Tulu film that was successfully released after a long time in Dubai.
Shodhan Prasad welcomed the guests. Ronald Martis thanked the audience and all those who contributed and supported the successful release of the movie.
About the film
Made under the banner of Rachael Film Production and produced by Ronald Martis, “Kambalabettu Bhatrena Magal” has been directed by Sharath S Poojary, Baggathota. It stars Aishwarya A Acharya, Shailesh Birwa in the lead along with Sharath Poojary Kapu, Pradeep J Shetty, Shankar Bhat, Rashmitha Changappa and Lavanya Kotian. The special star cast comprises of Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjur, Prakash K Tuminadu, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Satish Bandale, Shivaprakash Poonja, Shobhpriya Nair and Saroja Rao.
Prakash Gatty has served as the production in-charge for the film and Shinoy V Joseph has scored the music.
Two more shows have been arranged at NOVO Cinemas, WTC, Abu Dhabi (1.30 PM) and NOVO Cinemas, Mega Mall, Sharjah (4.30 PM) on May 3.
