Doha: Tulu Koota Qatar (TKQ) is all set the stage for the Arjun Janya Live Concert on the occasion of its Annual Mega event on October 30, at the Delhi Public School auditorium.
Speaking to News Karnataka, Tulukoota President Ravi Shetty said that the ‘Jai Ho’ fame Vijay Prakash will be gracing the occasion and will render a guest performance. Renowned Sandalwood singers Indu Nagaraj, Anuradha Bhat, Chinmayi, winner of Zee Kannada’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will be performing along with Arjun’s team. Renowned TV artist and VJ, Anupama Bhat will be anchoring the show in her inimitable style.
This will be the best opportunity for music lovers to witness the live concert of renowned South Indian Music Director Arjun Janya and to enjoy Sandalwood, Bollywood and Tulu cinematic songs.
Young and popular music director Arjun Janya popularly known as ‘Magical Composer’, is a versatile Indian film score and soundtrack composer and singer. Arjun made his film debut in the 2006 Kannada film ‘Autograph Please’. Since then he has composed and scored music for successful films like Birugaali, Sanchari, Kempegowda, Varadanayaka and Victory (2013) to name a few. His songs are very well received by the audience and he is quickly becoming a music director in high demand in South India.
The Oxygen Dance Troupe will heat up the floor with sensational and electrifying dance performances.
Tulu Koota has decided to dedicate this concert to the loving memory of its former president and Bunts Qatar President Prakash Chandra Ajila who passed away recently. It would be a glorious tribute to a great leader, humble friend and loving human being.
Tulu Koota president Ravi Shetty said on an emotional note, “As this mega event was already planned when Ajila was still around and he had also attended the preparatory meeting of this event on his last day as part of the preliminary planning team. Hosting it successfully would be a small way of paying tribute to the great soul who had contributed immensely to the development of Tulu Koota.”
On behalf of the Management Committee, he invited Qatar Resident Kannadigas to come and enjoy the event and make it a success.
He said, “gate passes are available with Tulukoota committee members, volunteers and also available at Maza Restaurant, Alishan Restaurant, Welcome Dine Restaurant, Swagath Restaurant, Canara Jewellery, Akshaya Jewellery at a nominal cost. He said the function will start at 4.45 PM and the gates will open at 4.00 PM.
