Youth meet held in advance of KIC Crystal Jubilee celebrations slated for December 11

Dubai: To mark its Crystal Jubilee, the central committee of KIC will organize a grand programme on December 11 at the renowned Iranian Auditorium in Dubai. A pre-cursor youth meet was convened in this regard at Zabeel Park recently.

Leaders of various associations, well-wishers and sponsors participated in the meet after Jumah Namaz. KIC President Abdul Jabbar Baitadka delivered the keynote address. President of the central committee Haj Mohiuddin Kutti Dibba led the programme with prayer.

Various events such as 100-metre sprint, sack race, passing the ball and tug of war were organized. People irrespective of their age and social status participated in the competitions. Prizes were distributed during the valedictory ceremony that was held post the Magrib namaz.

Honorary president of the KIC central committee Sayyed Asgar Ali Tanjhal showered praises on the functionaries of the organization for their commendable work. Faizal Rehmani Ustad Bayar referring to Hadees, said that in the era where youth indulge in unlawful activities and adore ungodliness, the association of youth with the KSI was praiseworthy. He urged the gathering to support KIC, keeping in mind the future of the next generation.

Youth Wing President Jabbar Baitadka said that while a lot of organizations render services only to garner media attention, the contribution of KIC to the society is highly appreciable. “As KIC specially emphasizes on education, there are a lot of challenges before us and we need to tackle them in unison,” he said.

Organizing Secretary of the Youth Wing Ashraf Parladka welcomed the gathering while Rafiq Mukwe proposed the vote of thanks. Asif Puttur, Razak Neerkaje, Nawaz BC Road, Salim Koora, Jabeer Bettampadi, Azeez Sorake were present.
