The Patna Pirates delivered a resounding 54-31 win over the Bengaluru Bulls at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Tuesday, powered by a remarkable performance from their young raiding duo, Devank and Ayan. Devank climbed to the top of the Season 11 raiders list with 131 raid points, propelling the Pirates to third place in the standings.
First Half: A Slow Start Turns into Momentum
The game began with four Super Tackles, as the Bulls’ defenders, led by Saurabh Nandal and Sunny, managed to keep the dangerous Devank and Ayan in check. However, a crucial tackle by Deepak on Nandal triggered the first All-Out on the Bulls, swinging the momentum towards the Pirates. The half ended with Patna leading 20-13.
Second Half: Patna Pirates Take Control
The Pirates came out firing in the second half, inflicting another All-Out within three minutes. Sandeep joined Devank and Ayan in the raiding spree, and a Super Raid by Devank widened the gap. Patna’s relentless attacks resulted in a third All-Out on the Bulls, cementing their dominance.
Super 10s Shine Bright
Devank registered yet another Super 10, scoring 16 raid points, while Ayan also secured his own Super 10 late in the game. The Pirates’ total soared past 50 points, leaving the Bulls overwhelmed.
