Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct a road show in Udupi on November 28 as part of his visit to the coastal temple town, the BJP’s district leadership announced on Tuesday. The event is expected to draw large crowds as the Prime Minister travels from Bannanje Narayana Guru Circle to Kalsanka between 11.40 a.m. and noon.

PM’s route and schedule announced

BJP district unit president Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty said the Prime Minister’s road show would begin at Bannanje Narayana Guru Circle and culminate at Kalsanka. Local authorities and party workers are making elaborate arrangements to manage the turnout along this busy stretch.

Visit to Sri Krishna Mutt

Following the road show, Mr. Modi will proceed to the Sri Krishna Mutt complex. He will enter the premises through the Mutt parking area and Car Street before offering prayers and having a darshan of Lord Krishna. The visit is being seen as a significant spiritual stop in the Prime Minister’s itinerary.

Participation in Laksha Geeta Parayana

As part of the day’s events, Mr. Modi will join devotees in the mass Laksha Geeta Parayana, organised by Paryaya Sri Puttige Mutt. The large-scale devotional chanting is expected to witness participation from thousands of devotees gathered at the temple precincts.

Public address and departure

After the prayer event, the Prime Minister will address a public gathering in Udupi. He is scheduled to leave the town at 1.45 p.m. The district administration has put security and traffic management plans in place to ensure smooth conduct of the programme
