Mumbai: Amid persistent rumours about her marriage with actor Govinda, Sunita Ahuja recently clarified the truth, asserting that the couple’s bond remains strong and unshaken. In a heartfelt video that went viral, she addressed the speculation and spoke about her faith, devotion and family life.
Clarifying the rumours
Sunita Ahuja explained that she and Govinda live separately only for practical reasons. When Govinda was active in politics, party workers frequently visited their home, and with their daughter growing up, privacy became a concern. To address this, they set up a nearby office space while continuing to maintain their close-knit family life.
Firmly addressing the rumours, she stated, “No one can ever come between me and Govinda. Our relationship is built on love, trust and divine blessings.”
A spiritual journey to Maa Mahakali and Kal Bhairav temples
In her latest vlog, Sunita documented her trip from Mumbai to Chandigarh, where she visited the Maa Mahakali and Kal Bhairav temples. She even rode pillion on a motorcycle to reach the Maa Mahakali shrine, an experience she described as deeply emotional.
She told the temple priest that her devotion to the goddess dates back to childhood when her mother would take her to the Mahalaxmi Mata temple in Mumbai. “Since I was 8–9 years old, I have been visiting temples. When I met Govinda, I prayed to Maa Mahakali for a happy married life and she has fulfilled all my wishes, including blessing us with two wonderful children,” she said tearfully.

Sunita emphasised her belief that life has its challenges, but unwavering faith provides strength. She added that anyone attempting to harm her family would face Maa Kali’s justice. “Wronging a good person or woman is never acceptable in the eyes of the goddess,” she said.
