New Delhi: The epic tale of Ramayana is set to come alive like never before, with the release of the first look of Ramayana: Part I. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, the film promises to be a cinematic milestone. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this mythological saga is scheduled to hit theatres during Diwali 2026.

The makers released the teaser online with a powerful note:
“Ten years of aspiration. Relentless conviction to bring the greatest epic of all time to the world… Let’s celebrate the IMMORTAL story of Rama v/s Ravana.”

Joining the core trio are Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The project also boasts a legendary musical duo — Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman — promising a globally resonant soundtrack.

Global Vision for a Timeless Epic

Producer Namit Malhotra, speaking at the World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit, revealed a groundbreaking approach to localizing the film. With advanced tech, Ramayana aims to be seamlessly lip-synced in multiple languages — including English, Spanish, and Japanese — offering a dubbed-free yet native viewing experience across the globe.

A Two-Part Cinematic Journey

Ramayana is planned as a two-part series, with Part I laying the foundation for the legendary clash of Rama vs. Ravana — a battle of righteousness, love, and sacrifice.
