Mysuru: The NR Group, India’s top agarbathi manufacturer and proud owners of the Mysore Warriors, has officially announced its women’s squad for the first-ever Maharani Trophy KSCA T20 2025.

India Test player Shubha Satheesh will captain the Mysore Warriors women’s team, set to take the field from August 4 to 10 at the KSCA Alur Grounds in Bengaluru. The team will be coached by Karuna Jain, a former India cricketer herself.

Arjun Ranga, Managing Director of Cycle Pure Agarbathi and owner of Mysore Warriors, expressed excitement about participating in the maiden edition of this historic women’s tournament. “We’re proud to be part of this groundbreaking step for women’s cricket,” he said.

Reaffirming the team’s commitment to grassroots empowerment, Ranga also distributed a sports kit to students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Kergalli. These young girls, many from underprivileged communities, are preparing for an upcoming district-level competition.

KGBV provides residential education for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds and now, with new equipment, is better equipped to nurture their sporting talent.

The Maharani Trophy 2025 will see five competitive teams—Mysore Warriors, Hubli Tigers, Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters, Mangaluru Dragons, and Shivamogga Lions—battle it out for the title.
