Wonderla Holidays Ltd. has expanded its hospitality ambitions with the launch of Terrea by Wonderla, a newly revamped urban resort located beside its Bengaluru amusement park.

The company said the property was redesigned over eight months with an investment of around ₹18 crore, as it aims to meet rising demand for premium and experience-driven stays.

Company leadership said the resort had existed for over a decade but required a fresh identity and a stronger standalone brand presence.

84-room resort with unique themed experiences

The 84-room property has been designed around nature-inspired concepts, with each floor offering a distinct atmosphere such as botanical, beach and urban themes.

According to the company, the idea was to create a more memorable stay where rooms feel different from standard hotel experiences.

The move reflects a growing trend among travellers seeking immersive stays rather than only functional accommodation.

Wonderla eyes hospitality growth

The launch follows Wonderla’s earlier hospitality venture, The Isle by Wonderla. The company is now positioning resorts and stays as an important growth segment beyond amusement parks.

Industry observers say leisure brands are increasingly diversifying into hotels, wellness and destination experiences to create year-round revenue streams.

Expansion plans under review

Wonderla is also reportedly evaluating similar hospitality formats in cities such as Kochi, Hyderabad and Chennai, alongside its amusement park network.

Bengaluru continues to remain a strong market for weekend leisure tourism, staycations and family entertainment, making it a strategic location for such expansion.

New chapter for leisure travel

With Indian consumers increasingly spending on short breaks and premium experiences, Terrea by Wonderla marks a new chapter in combining entertainment with upscale hospitality
