Honda Brio facelift is finally ready to make its appearance in India though the car model has already been introduced to the Indian dealers. The front fascia of the Honda Brio has many similarities with the Honda Amaze facelift. Honda Amaze facelift has been exhibited at the 2016 IIMS in Indonesia in April 2016. The revised front fascia enhances the look of the car and makes it sportier. Though the headlamp clusters remain same but the radiator intake has been enlarged and the front bumper also sports dual faux air intakes at both sides. All these make the front bumper looks bolder as compared to the outgoing model.
The front grille possesses a chrome trim and it comes entirely different from the outgoing model. In this car model, a thick black bar joins the headlamps and the Honda logo usually sits at the centre. The rear profile of the car possesses some exclusive features like a roof spoiler with high mounted stop lamp, delta shaped taillights, and beefy bumper.
Some conspicuous changes are made at the interior parts these include a new and trendy dashboard which is very similar with both the Honda Amaze facelift and the Honda BR-V. The interior also looks sporty and vivacious with the black theme combined with sleek chrome trims. The car also owns a multifunction three spoke steering wheel, analog dials and digital MID and a sleek centre console with a 2 DIN audio system.
The Honda brio facelift is driven by a 1.2 litre i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine which is paired with a five speed manual transmission. The engine produces 88 PS of peak power and 109 Nm of peak torque. The manufacturer is also planning to incorporate CVT though they did not confirm it.
