New Delhi: The latest surprise from WhatsApp for its users is a video call facility that may become a reality soon.
As of now, there are no officials word on the launch of the video-calling feature, but it may be recalled that WhatsApp, early this year had rolled out the voice calling feature for its users. However, the features till date, could not gain much success because of the time lag in conversation even after using 3G services.
The popular app now has 900 million regular and active users around the world, following the addition of 100 million users in last five months.
In November, WhatsApp had said India accounted for 70 million of its active users, which was over a 10th of its global users back then. WhatsApp competes with messaging apps like LINE, Viber and Hike in India.
