Actor Vijay, currently involved in the shooting of ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT) directed by Venkat Prabhu, has made his official entry into politics by revealing the name of his political party. Simultaneously, Vijay has confirmed that he will feature in another film tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 69’, which will mark his final appearance as an actor.
While details about ‘Thalapathy 69’ are yet to be disclosed, fans eagerly await information about this last film and the fortunate director. Discussing the significance of politics in his life and revealing that ‘Thalapathy 69’ will be his farewell film, Vijay expressed, “Finally, politics is not just another career for me; It is a sacred people’s work. To understand not only the height of politics but also its length and width, I have been preparing myself for it by studying lessons from many of us. So politics is not a hobby for me; It is my deepest desire. I want to fully involve myself in it. On my behalf, I am going to fulfill another film-related commitment that I have already agreed to, without interfering with party work, and fully engage in politics for the service of the people. I consider that as my debt of gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu.”
There are speculations that Vijay will collaborate with director Karthik Subbaraj under Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures for his 69th film. Reports suggest that SJ Suryah will play a crucial role, and Santhosh Narayanan will compose the music. An official announcement about the project is expected after Vijay completes the shooting of Venkat Prabhu’s film.
