Shortly after its release, the trailer for comedy movie ‘Gubbi Mele Brahmastra’ went viral over social media. The Sandalwood industry has been in need of an all-out comedic masterpiece and ‘Gubbi Mele Brahmastra’ certainly promises to be one.
The trailer has become so popular that there is talk of the production team selling the remake rights to the movie as well. According to sources, a Mumbai production house has taken an interest in the movie and is currently engaged in discussions with producer Chandrashekhar. However, this cannot be ascertained as it might be just another marketing strategy adopted by the filmmakers.
For now, the film is slated for release on August 15. The rom-com features Raj Shetty and Kavitha Gowda in lead roles, while Pramod Shetty plays the hysterical antagonist. Actors Shubha Poonja, Rachana Dasharath, and Karunya Ram have also been roped in for cameos in the movie. The slapstick comedy is the debut film of director Sujay Shastry.
