Shivarajkumar starrer “Srikanta” released to decent reviews on January 6. However the film was not promoted well by the makers, which resulted in below par collections for a Shivarajkumar film. The film which has been made on a budget of Rs 9 Crore is said to have recovered almost 80 percent of its money in ten days.
If we include satellite rights, the producer of the film is already safe. Shivarajkumar has proved that he is a producer’s actor and even at this age, he can give hit films with his own name. Manju Swaraj has directed the movie.
Shivarajkumar has excelled in the role of common man in “Srikanta.” The film is a political satire, which was based on a short story written by popular director Dr Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar.
