When the trailer of “Aadi Purana” was released, it felt as though the movie was made for the youth, but on release, the film came with a surprise.
A complete family entertainer, the film is about young protagonist Adithya and the events revolving around his life.
A studious teetotaler does well in professional life, butnhas tumultuous personal life. While he longs to have a girlfriend, his father decides to get him married off. Though he hopes this to be a new beginning in his life, his troubles double. Unable to consummate, the story unfurls further with Adithya’s failures, leading to the end of the film.
A well narrated romantic comedy, youth can easily relate to the film.
Mohan Kamkshi has presented the film beautifully. Even though this is his debut film, his experience in editing plays the magic in the film, which is technically strong.
All the actors have done a good job. It looks like the workshop for newbies did wonders. Shashank is great as Aditya. He looks like the next big thing in Sandalwood. With his comic timing, he can do wonders if he gets good script. Female leads Ahalya Suresh and Moksha Kushal have done justice to their roles. However, if there is one actor, who takes all the applause, then it is Rangayana Raghu. The veteran’s role with philosophical touch makes this film a must watch
All in all, the film is worth the time and money.
