Bengaluru: Kannada cine star Darshan is again in a gloomy situation as his wife filed a harassment case against him for the second time.
Vijayalaxmi, wife of Darshan, filed a harassment case against him on Wednesday, March 9, at Channammanakere Achchukattu police station.
She has also sought protection from the star as he had threatened her several times over personal matters.
It is said that Vijayalaxmi has moved out of Darshan’s house and was living separately with her son and mother at an apartment near Hosakerehalli.
Darshan picked up a fight with his wife last Sunday too, for she refused to participate in a TV show with him in which he was the special guest.
According to police sources, Darshan objected to that her unwillingness to live him will damage his image among his fan following, she said in the statement.
This led to a lot of speculations among his fan following that there is something fishy in their relationship again.
Earlier too, Vijayalaxmi filed domestic violence case against Darshan in which he was put behind bars until she withdrew her complaint under the pressure of certain industry bigwigs.
Darshan’s mother Meena Thoogudeepa, who was unwell due to kidney and liver ailments, was admitted to the hospital. However, her condition deteriorated after the news of her daughter-in-law, Vijayalaxmi filing a case against her son broke out.
