Even though Shivarajkumar and Sudeep-starrer “The Villain” is getting close to its shooting schedule-January 21, the makers have not yet revealed the female lead in the film. Initially, Tamannaah Bhatia was the choice of director Prem, but since she was seen in a special number in “Jaguar”, Prem decided against casting her.
Sources say that Bollywood actor Amy Jackson has been approached by the makers. Amy has been a part of many big films like “I” and “Singh is Bling” in Bollywood and Kollywood. She is also playing the lead in Indian Cinema’s costliest film “2.0”.
Amy Jackson has reportedly agreed to be a part of the film. “The Villain” team is waiting for Amy to complete her commitment after which they plan to make an official announcement.
