For the first time in recent years, a Kannada movie with a woman as the villain is being produced. Anitha Bhat, who is busy with four films in hand, will be the villain.
She will be seen in the role of a villain for the first time in her career as an actress.
In “Kanneri”, which is being directed by Ninasam Manju, she will be seen as a glamorous villain, she informed.
The role, she said, is a special one. “The entire screenplay revolves around my character,” she said at a media briefing. Another major role in the film is being played by Ravishankar.
“It is a very local story. The story is about why a woman becomes a villain and what she does,” she said.
Anitha informed that she is now busy acting in three other movies including “Sadguna Sampanna”, “Bengaluru 69”, and “Kaliveera”.
