Bengaluru: The intriguing teaser of Puneeth Rajkumar’s dream project ‘Gandhada Gudi’ has been released on Monday December 6. The film has been produced by the late actor’s PRK productions in collaboration with Director Amoghavarsha’s Mudskipper.
The film follows Gandhada Gudi (1973), the first Indian film about forest conservation, which starred Dr. Rajkumar and was released five decades ago. Gandhada Gudi stands as an example on how film can influence and inspire generations to care for forests and safeguard them. To celebrate the legacy, Amogavarsha and his team, devoted themselves in bringing up this unique film.
The visual editing, which is done in line with the accompanying music, creates a whole new experience in which one feels more connected to nature. The teaser does a brilliant job of revealing Karnataka’s true beauty. The late actor’s appearance on screen would evoke mixed emotions of grief and excitement among the audience.
According to press release, the rich visual imagery and storytelling of the film is first of its kind and the audience will get a chance to see Puneeth Rajkumar just as himself, a son of the soil. The film also creates a new category of cinema that can be best enjoyed on the big screen.

Gandhada Gudi is in post-production phase and is set to be released in 2022.
