“Attempt to Murder” (ATM) is all set to release this Friday. The film team claims that ATM is based on a real life incident which took place in Namma Bengaluru. The film remembers the man named Madhukar Reddy, who was allegedly responsible for the brutal assault on 48-year-old Jyothi Uday here in the heart of the city in November 2013. The culprit was nabbed years later after much public outcry.
The film’s director Amar said that the film’s main plot is based on this and also includes some commercial elements. Through the ATM incident, the film tries to explore human behaviour when enticed by easy money.
The film is being produced by Narayan and will be debuting actors like Vinay Gowda, Chandu and Hemalatha Shobitha in lead roles.
