It’s been two years since the release of “Mr & Mrs Ramachari”. However, none of the films have even come close to the box office collections of the film. Many films have done better collections than Mr & Mrs Ramachari” in rest of India and overseas. However, they have not been able to beat the overall box office collections, due to the tremendous box office collections of “Mr & Mrs Ramachari”.
Director Santosh Anandram is back with his second film “Rajakumara”. The film which has Puneeth Rajakumar is in its last schedule shooting at Goa. The teaser of the film released in September to excellent response. Such is the response of the teaser and expectations, that trade pundits in Gandhinagar feel the film will beat “Mr & Mrs Ramachari”.
They opine that Santhosh is an intelligent director. They think that he would have made a complete entertainer. Santosh’s direction and Puneeth fan following has made the trade pundits optimistic.
Santosh had used the image of Dr Vishnuvardhana in ” Mr & Mrs Ramachari” and now he is utilizing icon Dr Rajakumar’s image in “Rajakumara”.
Priya Anand is the female lead, Tamil actor Sarath Kumar is playing father to Puneeth Rajakumar in the film. Prakash Rai, Rangayana Raghu, Avinash, Srinath, Naser, Sadhu Kokila, Rajesh Nataranga, Chikkanna and Rockline Sudhakaare are also in the cast. Hombale Films banner are producing the film, which is slated to release during January.
