After giving a moderate hit with “Amma I Love You”, Chiranjeevi Sarja is back with another film. This time, he will share screen space with another talented actor. V Samudra’s directorial “Ranam” will see Chiranjeevi and Chetan Kumar of “Aa Dinagalu” fame, together on the silver screen.

Chetan will be playing a revolutionist in Samudra’s directorial and the latest is that Chiranjeevi will be donning the role of a police officer, who is an encounter specialist. Chetan’s looks are along the lines of revolutionary freedom fighter, Che Guevara.

The makers have supposedly approached a Sandalwood superstar for the cameo and are waiting for the go-ahead from him to make an official announcement. This project is being made in two languages, Kannada and Telugu, for which Samudra has roped in regional artistes. Produced by R Srinivas, the Kannada version has Gurukiran as the music director and Niranjan Babu as cinematographer.
