Everyone is familiar with Sandalwood actor and “Challenging Star” Darshan’s love for animals and nature. He himself has revealed, in several television interviews, that he makes it a point to visit his farmhouse in Mysuru every week.
In a reaffirmation of his love for animals, Darshan clicked a selfie with late Sandalwood actor and “Rebel Star” Ambareesh’s pet dog “Kanwarlal”. The Saint Bernard dog was named by Ambareesh himself.

It can be recalled that Kanwarlal had gone silent after losing his master. According to sources who were close to Ambareesh, it was difficult to get back the pet dog back to its lively mode. Luckily, Ambareesh’s son Abhishek Gowda managed to rejuvenate the dog.
Kanwarlal had stopped eating for several days, after the death of Ambareesh.
