We have seen many actors playing doctors in Kannada films and now, for a change we will be seeing a doctor playing an actress in a new Kannada film. Nithu Gowda, who studied dentistry, will be making her debut in Sandalwood with Chetan-starrer “Ranam” directed by V Samudra. Since the film is a bilingual one, this will also mark her debut in Tollywood.
Nithu’s plunge into films happened after she took a break post her studies to give acting, her childhood dream, a try. Born and raised in Haasan, Nithu is now based in Bengaluru. Prior to her foray into acting, Nithu was the face of known brands in commercials.
The dentist-turned-model-turned-actor does not have long-term career plans. She just wishes to be part of some good films.
