“Kendasampige”, an experimental film that became a sleeper hit upon its release, had ended with a hint of a sequel. Fans of the film were eagerly waiting for the next film in the franchise, however, to everyone’s disappointment, Suri announced that he will not be making the film only a few months ago.
Following immense pressure from the fans, Suri has now decided to oblige and make the film that was promised. it is now said that once he wraps up “Suri Popcorn Monkey Tiger” with Dhananjay, he will be taking up this project.
“Kendasampige (Part:2 Ginimari Case)” was released on September 11, 2015 to positive reviews from critics. Directed by Suri and written by Surendranath, the film starred newcomers Vikky and Manvitha in the lead. The plot is focussed on a couple who have been framed for a crime and are on the run from the police. The plot exposes the nexus between the latter and the influential.
Produced under Parimala Film Factory’s banner, the cinematography for the film was done by Satya Hegde and editing was by Deepu S Kumar. The music has been scored by V Harikrishna soundtrack.
