The infamous Blue Whale challenge, an online game, which went viral in 2016 claimed the lives of many youngsters. Sandalwood director Vinod Poojary has directed a film based on the online game titled ‘Maya Kannadi’. The film is a thriller and is set in a college campus.
‘Maya Kannadi’ stars Prabhu Mundkur in the lead and KS Sridhar plays a pivotal role. The film also has an ensemble cast of Karthik Rao, Ashwin Rao, Kaajal Kunder and Anvita Sagar.
The makers of ‘Maya Kannadi’ will announce the release date as soon as they get a clearance from the censor board. The film has been produced by Sapana Patil in association with King of Hearts Production. Abhishek SN has composed the music for the film.
