Bengaluru: Director Jayathirtha is all set for the release of his next, Banaras. The first song of the movie, Maaya Gange was released, recently. Abhishek Ambareesh and Vinod Prabhakar were present in the occasion.
The song will represent the theme of the movie, which is set in the backdrop of Banaras. The movie has been shot in Varanasi. The music is scored by Ajaneesh B. Loknath.
The film is the debut vehicle of politician Zameer Ahmed’s son, Zaid Khan. Sonal Monteiro is the female lead.
