We all know that a remake of Telugu blockbuster “Pelli Choopulu” is taking place in Sandalwood. The title of the film was released recently and the film has been named after a controversial Bhagyas of the state government, which is “Shaadi Bhagya.”
“Shaadi Bhagya” was one of the policies of state government, to pay Rs 50,000 for a newly-wedded bride of a particular community. This had led to a controversy as only a particular community was given this benefit. However, the team says that it was not done to milk the controversy.
Apparently, there was a lot of discussion that went into fixing the title. After a series of talks, the team was happy and rounded it down to the current title.
The film will be directed by choreographer-turned-director Murali Master and will feature Shraddha Srinath in the lead. The film made by Harsha Entertainers will go on floors in March.
