Actress Harshika Poonacha was recently honoured by an organization for helping the needy during the COVID-19 lockdown
The actress, who recently returned to Bengaluru city after wrapping up a shoot of her debut Bhojpuri film, is excited to have received the felicitation.
Harshika took to her Instagram account @harshikapoonachaofficial to express her joy, writing, “Came back to India with a Beautiful Surprise. I’m Deeply humbled and privileged to be receiving the prestigious Corona Warriors Award 2020. This award was dedicated mainly to doctors and Police department who worked day and night to save innocent people’s lives during the pandemic. I am touched and honoured that the dignitaries chose me to be a part of this delegated list. I worked without any expectations, But when our little work is recognised , it does feel good . Thankyou for the love and I shall promise to keep the good work. Let’s stay with each other and stand up for each other . Jai Hind (sic)”

The actress’s debut Bhojpuri film is directed by Premanshu Singh. The film stars Pawan Singh in the lead role.
In Sandalwood, Harshika will star in “Om Prema”, a female-centric film directed by Adavibavi Sharan.
