Indrajit Lankesh is known for making stylish projects in Sandalwood. Even though his success rate as a director in the recent past has been very poor, his films are technically very strong. He has always wanted to get into Bollywood and in 2009, he was all set to direct a Hindi film titled “Shaadi Ke After Effects”, which was to be produced by Ashok Kheny. However, the duo had fights during the shoot and Ashok Kheny ended up taking over director’s credit. The film was released as “Prem Ka Game” and it did not do well.
Leaving behind all his troubles in Bollywood, he will make his debut with a female centric film. He is planning to rope in either Richa Chadha or Swara Bhaskar for his first Hindi film, and an actress will be finalised in the next couple of weeks, depending on the availability of their dates and their commitment towards the project. An official announcement will be made when one of the actresses signs on the dotted line.

Meanwhile, he is busy with social work and is currently part of the reality show Majaa Talkies hosted by Srujan Lokesh, the second season of which will start on February 8.
