Nikhil Kumar’s ‘Jaguar’ has opened to good response in Karnataka. Released on October 6, the film has been praised. Even though there was no novelty in story, the presentation and technical aspects impressed the audience of Karnataka. The film, which almost had Telugu stars looked more like a film made to impress Telugu audiences. However that does not seem to be the case in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana.
The Telugu version of ‘Jaguar’ has opened to mixed response. Even though the film had Rajamouli’s father’s backing, it has not been able to make a mark as expected. Audience have not found anything special in the film. With three other Telugu films releasing during same time, ‘Jaguar’ is said to be struggling at box office.
The Kannada version also looked like a dubbed version of Telugu film. Kumarswamy could have depended more on Kannada talents to make the film better. The richness and technical part is a huge plus. However the story, which is soul of any film is same old one. This has disappointed audiences.
