Gandhinagar is witnessing a lot of experimental films. One such is Kode Muruga. With a unique title, poster and songs, the film has many highlights. Making films with stars is a regular affair in the industry. But to feature a leading man who is unconventional in terms of looks, be it a dusky complexion, bald head and one with a long moustache is a rare occurrence.
This feat has been achieved by young director Subramanya Prasad. Having directed umpteen serials like Radhakallyana, Ananda Bhairavi and Gaalipata, Subramanya will be debuting as a director with Kode Muruga. He has also acted in the film. Another unique aspect is that Subramanya has chosen to give a sneak peek into the trailer of the film.
Muruga aka Munikrishna who was one of the main villains of the serial Agnisakshi plays the hero while Pallavi Gowda plays the leading lady. Kuri Pratap, Swathi, Gurudutt and Tumkur Mohan will also be seen in various roles. The trailer will be out on the 25th of this month, Kode Muruga has been produced by K Ravikumar and Ashok Shirali under the KRK banner.
