We had reported a few days ago that “Tagaru” fame Putti Manvitha Harish will be acting in Nagathihalli Chandrashekar’s next, which will be based in London. Now, the team has confirmed the film’s shooting details. The Basaveshwara statue on the banks of river Thames in London has been finalised for the muhurath shot of the film, starring Vasishta Simha and Manvitha Harish. The shoot is to begin on August 4.
Chandrashekar’s film, the story of which is written by his daughter Kanasu, is along the lines of 90’s superhit, “America America”. Vasishta will be replacing Gurunandan, who had to leave the film due to dates issue. Prakash Belawadi and Sumalatha will be playing NRIs in this production. The film is being produced by YN Shankare Gowda with a couple of filmmaker friends, including NRIs, investing in the project.
The director has roped in British cameraman Will Price for his upcoming project. Will has worked in three feature films, multiple short films, music videos, documentaries and commercial ventures. Manvitha is excited about working with Nagathahalli Chandrashekar and has not signed any other film, as she wants to focus on this film.
