Nikhil Kumar has decided to opt for a Kannada director for his second film. We had reported a few days back, that he will be working in a film by Telugu director Surendra Reddy. However, it has now been confirmed by sources that either Harsha or Krishna will direct his second film.
His debut film “Jaguar” did decent business. However, it was criticised for being too Telugu oriented. The reason for that was almost all the cast and crew were from Telugu industry including the director. This may be the reason for the change in plans.
Nikhil’s father HD Kumarswamy will be producing the film. Both Harsha and Krishna are working on the script, which will be a bilingual. Harsha is currently busy with “Poojai” remake with Puneeth, which will go on floors in January. Krishna has almost completed “Hebulli” starring Sudeep and is waiting for the film to release.
If we see the schedule of these two directors, it looks like Krishna will direct Nikhil. Let us wait and see, what lies in store.
