As she incles closer to her 50th film, Nikita Thukral seems to be on a signing spree. The actress, who recently shot a special song in the Vishal and Kajal Aggarwal-starrer Payyum Puli, has begun work on her next in Sandalwood. The yet-to-be-titled film sees her paired opposite Srinagara Kitty.
“I’ve been in Bengaluru recently shooting for this film. The team will announce details about the movie once we finish more,” she says, as of now. Meanwhile, the actress has also signed new films in Telugu and Malayalam. While her Telugu film will see her act alongside Srikanth, her Malayalam film has Mohanlal and Atul Kulkarni as her co-stars.
“The Malayalam film is extremely interesting. I play a strong character with many shades. It is unlike the characters I have essayed in Malayalam films so far,” says Nikita, who will head to Kochi to shoot for the film soon. The actress, meanwhile, is also awaiting the release of her Hindi debut Traffic. Nikita, whose movie count is now 47, says that she is hoping to give her fans a memorable 50th film, justifying the milestone number.
